MiaPeach Mia Mendez is a Philly native and graduate of Temple University with a degree in Broadcast Communications. She has flourished as an on air personality from Tulsa, OK to Hartford, CT and most recently hosted the night show in her home town of Philadelphia as the First Lady of the Hometeam for four years. You have even seen her as the entertainment correspondent on BOUNCE TV/WMCN for The Detour Talk Show.
Throughout the later part of her radio career she began her journey into acting. Studying at MTB Studio in NYC has helped her prepare for various roles. Mia has played teacher “Ms. Rosa” in the film directed by and starring Charles Dutton, Must Be The Music. That was followed by playing “Detective Sanchez” in the EOTM Nominated film Split Second directed by Timothy Fontaine of Fontaine Vision. Most recently she played “Detective Cortez” alongside Brian A. Wilson and Christopher Mann in the ABFF nominated feature film Murder City Angels of Skye Vision. Mia is fully committed to acting. Watch her as Lucina Mendez on the 2nd season of Atlantic City Chronicles by John Paxton and as Keke in Book of Nimrod by Carla Morales. Just recently, Mia’s first leading role in the independent feature film, Boston2Philly of Camp 9 Films was premiere in Philadelphia and Boston and is now making its Film Festival run. Her goal is to continue the journey that is life and inspire people along the way…
